A Hindu wedding follows Indian religious traditions, whereby two souls come together in a spiritual, mental and physical bond. This bond also brings the two families together for generations to come.
The Baraat (a gathering of relatives and friends) is the arrival of the Groom on the wedding day. Kunal chose a very traditional way for his Baraat; he arrived on a decorated horse.
The bridal procession was also traditional. Rajika was escorted under a beautiful, colorful embroidered fabric called chaadar by her family and bridesmaids to her Groom. The Bride was a true beauty in her colorful, traditional outfit.
The Groom was also dressed in a traditional Sherwani (a long top with pants) and a turban.
This was the day Kunal and Rajika started their lifelong journey together. It was a privilege to be a part of their beautiful ceremony. We wish them all the best!
